Bereavement Support

Grief is deeply personal. It doesn’t follow a schedule, and there is no right or wrong way to mourn the loss of someone you love.

Stillwater Hospice offers bereavement support for caregivers and families, recognizing that care doesn’t end at the time of loss. Our dedicated bereavement counselor provides short-term grief support through home visits or phone calls, based on individual needs. Trained volunteers may assist in offering continued support, with services available for more than a year after a loved one’s passing.

We can connect you with additional resources in your local community, including referrals for long-term counseling and support groups. These spaces offer the opportunity to share your experience, be understood by others who have faced similar loss, and process grief in a safe and supportive environment.

For some, healing includes supporting others. In time, sharing your story may bring a sense of connection and purpose as you continue to navigate your own journey.
